What we bring

Everything you need to put on a show.

PA system

Powered front-of-house with sub support, sized to the room. Indoor or outdoor, festival-scale or coffeehouse — we right-size every show.

Monitors

Stage monitor mixes for full bands, in-ears when the room calls for it, dedicated monitor engineer when the rider warrants one.

Microphones & DI

Full mic locker — vocals, drums, guitar amps, brass, acoustic instruments, lecterns, lavs. DI boxes for keys, basses, acoustic pickups.

Backline (when needed)

Drum kit, guitar amps, bass amp, keys — available on request. Communicate the rider in advance and we'll bring what fits.

Wireless & comms

Wireless handhelds and lavs for ceremonies, presentations, and panels. Frequency-coordinated, pre-tested, with backups in the rack.

Power & weather

Dedicated 20-amp circuits, surge protection, weather covers for outdoor events. Section 8 of the agreement covers the safety side in detail.

LifeThruMusic Band

Want a band, not just sound?

Cook Media's in-house band, LifeThruMusic, performs at ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, and corporate events. We tailor the set to the room: quiet acoustic during dinner, full band when the dancing starts.

Pricing is custom per event because the right number depends on date, venue, expected duration, and any specific song requests. Tell the chat what you're picturing and Corey will send a quote within 24 hours.

  • Ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, or all three
  • Custom set list, including must-play songs
  • Pairs naturally with Cook Media live sound + AV

Flat-rate up to four hours, then hourly.

Live sound runs on a flat base rate up to four hours, with hourly extension after. Backline, multiple monitor mixes, additional channels beyond a standard band kit, or specialty mics get quoted on top.

Get an actual number through the chat — we'll run it as soon as you tell us the date, venue, and band size.

50% non-refundable deposit on signing. Balance due day of event before load-in (per Section 4 of the agreement).

Past work

Bands, venues, and rooms we've mixed.

Venue and band references are available by request, with permission checks before any client name appears publicly.

FAQ

Questions promoters and band leads ask.

Do you provide backline?
Yes, on request. Drum kit, guitar amps, bass amp, keys — communicate the rider in advance so we can confirm what fits the room and the budget.
How far in advance do you need a stage plot?
Seven days minimum (per Section 7 of the agreement). The earlier the better — late stage plots mean we're guessing about input counts and gear, and the show suffers for it.
Can you record the show?
Recording is not included by default. If recording is part of the engagement, we agree on it in writing up front (per Section 16) — it affects equipment, channels, and pricing.
What if the venue is outdoors?
Outdoor events need weather protection — tenting for the FOH position, weather covers for the PA, and dedicated 20-amp power. Section 8 of the agreement covers the safety side in full.
Do you do corporate events too?
Yes — see the corporate page. Conferences, fundraisers, internal events. Same gear, different mix.

Start with the assistant. Finish with a real project record.

Tell it your date, your venue, and what you're picturing. It captures the details Corey needs, checks the basics, and starts the workflow that becomes your quote, contract, invoice, and delivery hub.
